Last call to download the Beta - and CoNA repaints!

This post is "last call" for anyone who may want to give a try to the Beta release. I will delete the download link tomorrow morning (European time) as that build is no more representative of the status of the project.

Aside here are two preview pictures of the Centennial of Naval Aviation retro schemes. I would like to do also the two special colors done by TW-2 recently, but I am not sure I will have the time.

Anyway, I'm (slowly) getting rid of as many bugs as I can - but I took the chance and rationalized the coding of some areas of the cockpit, which may ease, in future, the addition of new functionalities. In fact, some unplanned functions are already in place (like a more accurate operation of the launch bar lights).
Most of the recurrent complaints have been addressed, like the cockpit night lighting which has been completely redone (and looks quite good IMHO). Also, the flight model has been tweaked a little - and carrier landing paramters should be closer to the real thing (although I think that carrier landings will be slightly harder for most users).

Last but not least, Neutrino is customizing the HUD so that it will be much more accurate.

Should everything go as planned, the new release will be ready by the end of the month.

Those CoNA paints look incredible Dino! This all sounds awesome and I can't wait for the release hopefully at the end of the month. Sounds like the flight model is spot on...even though a jet trainer should be "easier" to land on the carrier, carrier landings themselves are definitely not easy so there should be some challenge to it. A few questions/observations from me that I've asked about before but I've had more chances to fly the beta now and I've noticed the following:

The LAW button is on the UFC however I can't find where to see/change the value for the LAW.

Where can we set the altimeter? Is there a separate setting for the standby altimeter and the HUD altimeter or are they linked?

How do we set the transponder?

Also I found the BINGO setting and was able to change the value however I set it at 500 lbs and the BINGO alarm didn't go off until around 250 lbs of gas?

Thanks for all the work you are doing and I know these may be seen as minor issues but they really add to the realistic operation of the jet. Thanks again!!!

Great Plane. Thanks Dino.

Would Neutreno's new HUD be a part of the release?

Also, would be nice if a HUD can be installed in the aft VC cockpit so we can fly from the back seat (nothing fancy). Creating a VC view by high jacking an existing view,

Title = "VC Aft"
Guid = {4B6E64F5-D9E2-4f08-9295-BBD59B9F9B56}
Description = View from the aft cockpit
Origin = Virtual Cockpit
MomentumEffect = Yes
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = False
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = False
Track = None
ShowAxis = YES
AllowZoom = TRUE
InitialZoom = 0.8
SmoothZoomTime = 2.0
ZoomPanScalar = 1.0
ShowWeather = Yes
XyzAdjust = TRUE
Category = Cockpit
InitialXyz=0, .42 ,-1.70
InitialPbh=0, 0, 0
// x, z, y

we can fly from another perspective (SHIFT-1 HUD works but moves with head).

Thanks again,
