Plans for closure of the F-14D project...

Much like I did for the T-45C, I would like to "close" the F-14D project, at least for FSX. So, whenever I will find the time, I will make a further, and hopefully last, update to this mighty feline.

Changes I have on my book at the moment are:
- Replace the ASI gauge with a proper ASI/Machmeter
- Replace the ADI with a better model
- Replace the Altimeter with a better model
- Add the scratches effects to the VC
- Try to improve autopilot logic
- Try to improve reflections
- Lower the visors on the crew helmet

...not much. If you have suggestions or requests, they are welcome. I cannot promise anything - but the fact that I am willing to listen.

dust/scratches/smudges on the canopy and DDI's would be really nice!

Hi Dino! About the FSX version IMHO 2 improvements should be done: 1-the crew that can appear and disappear putting zero value in the payload menu. 2- to cancel or clear the shape of seats and pilot's heads that is visible throug the canopy when it' is open ( but is visible also when it is close). Thank you for all your addons.

Hello Dino,

I am following your work on this beautiful bird since the beginning and I want to thank you very much for this addon you offer to the FSXA community.

Cordially,
André K.

I was wondering, could you add fusalage vapour for the plane when it turns, and can you make it a 3D modelled vapour (like in the Aerosoft F-16 or IRIS F-15E). And can you also improve the afterburners and make them glow at night or dusk or dawn?

To this I would add finally fully clickable MFD and PFD without moving the camera around the cockpit. At 1.07 all the keys are in the 2.x already without moving the camera, unfortunately it is not.
I could use at the end if only simple suspensions manager acting independently of TackPACK with the possibility of firing "dummy rocket" as the F-15 and Harrier IRIS from Razbam.

Instead of animations like radome and access panel opening I'd rather prefer RBF and air intakes covers to simulate an usual cold and dark state more often seen than the maintenance one.

Firstly - a massive thank you for all your hard work and the free products you provide - very much appreciated.

Suggested improvements for the F14:
1. More realistic engines e.g. Spinning turbine blades, better afterburners
2. A paint kit (unless here is one and I managed to miss it)

Thanks!

On vlso's blog there was a post today that Jivko Rusev has updated the HUD for the Tomcat and Goshawk. Is this updated to be more realistic in comparison with the actual HUDs of your aircraft, or was this update just to aid to ease the landing?

If that does not add to the problem is the F-14 and F-35 the same suspensions management system as MB.326

Dino, I've experienced a bug in the external model, flying with no TacPac. The Centerline mounted Sparrow is partially blocked by a AIM-54 Rail!
