S-3 Viking project

After a long evaluation, I've finally started working on the S-3 Viking... I have not decided yet if it will be an S-3A or an S-3B, and I am struggling to find the best way to generate good base textures... but it is definitely a very interesting machine.
As you know, aircraft development in FSX is a quite complex and long porocess.. so it will take months before I'll have anything to share.
I think I had gathered all the pictures I could find on the web...but should you have interesting Viking pictures to share (especially for the interiors), they'd be welcome.

By the way I have not abandoned the MB.339 but the preliminary work was not satisfactory, especially if you consider that, to make sense, the project would need to be substantially better than the existing renditions - so I'll put in on hold at the moment.

Hoover! It's already looking great :)

There are some detailed photos on Prime Portal so be sure to look there.

It's a still long way to go, but I'm already looking forward to fly it. J.

P.S. new aircraft, new opportunity to try something else and start working with layers ;)

Dino, would appreciate a VRC50 Miss Piggy paint scheme. If you need pics I have them.

Also, I was privileged to get a catshot in an S3 Viking off USS Enterprise, spring 1988.

TSS has an accurate S3 soundpack.

Also Dino, can you give this the ability to have droppable ordnance and mid-air refuelling capability and other things it can do maybe, also will it be possible to give ita radar capable of tracking AI or multiplayer aircraft??

Dino makes a home run again ;-)
Congratulations for your decision to move at a little different path as flightsim mainstream.

@Jiri

...old habits die hard :-)

@Javier
Repaints will come at a much later stage...

@Varun
I think I had already replies to you recurring question elsewhere. Anyway, I use mainly gmax and 3dsmax.

Wow, then how do you manage to make all your planes so high on detail, cause I know only one software that can be used to such an extent and that is autodesk Alias. It is amazing, its my suggestion for you to try, also can you add droppable ordnance and mid-air refuelling capabilities to this??

Awesome, Dino! Thank you!
For all of you constantly placing demands on Dino, chill out! He is doing us all a huge favor, just let the man do his work! This is a hobby. You should be more appreciative.

Ciao Dino

Inanzitutto mi congratulo con te per i tuoi eccellenti aerei...ma ti volevo fare una domanda...prossima volta non potresti mica creare il progetto di un MB339 per FSX?

Hey Dino!

Your aircraft are epic.

I have a problem with your f-14d
i dont know if its my sim or a bug in the plane but the elevons seem to operate backwards, when i bank left, the elevons move as if i am banking right, if you know what i mean.

cool aircraft keep up the great work
