F-35A, -B and -Cs at Eglin AFB (screenshots)
Above are some images of the F-35A, -B and -C flying nearby Eglin AFB... Unfortunately I do not have much time to work on this project, nor I will for few days... but as you can see, Beta 2 is not far away. Maybe it will take a couple of weeks.
Dino, These look lovely.... I understand that you are still hard at work with these, so I don't intend on bothering you too much with more questions... However, I am wondering, with all the changes to the 3 variants, are there going to be some programming additions/improvements/features to the NEWER models cockpit interface? (Things like HOTAS features for the controls, more stores management capabilities with say VRS TACPACK and weapons release capabilities; just to name a few... )
Also, how will these be sold? Free upgrades to existing users or separate pay ware versions? Thanks Jim
No, that is just by chance...but given that the model will not have any weapons functionality, we may call it "a feature"...
@Jim
No, major updates to the Virtual Cockpit functionality are beyond the scope of this project (which already grew to dimensions that are hard to manage for the time I have). There will be several fixes and minor improvements, but most of the virtual cockpit will be unchanged. My plan is to deliver a F-35 package with all three variants. Although I am still undecided, I would prefer to release it as payware since the development costs were quite high for me. If so I'll try to arrange a discount for existing customers.
WONDERFUL air-craft, thank you VERY much for the F-35s, although they can still use with a bit of tweaking as they are still a bit awkward to operate, but overall very computer-friendly (most of the time), and all free!
a couple of weeks...I hope everything goes well, and I am looking forward to the surprise every day!
ReplyDeleteThis pictures look great. I like your first version of F-35 for FSX. I look forward to new version. Great work. Thank you. Michal (Czech republic)
ReplyDeleteDino, I have noticed that all ordnance is color coded as inert (dummy) - blue. Is it on purpose?
ReplyDeleteDino,
