T-45C version 2.10 download link(s) - update

It took longer than I expected, but finally here is the download link to the T-45C Goshawk version 2.10 (full install):

-Added instructor cockpit
-Changed glass material reflection for DirectX 10 compatibility (less realistic material, but 100% DX10 compatible)
-Changed landing gear animation sequence to have a lower stance
-Added VT-86 repaint courtesy of Russel R. Smith
-Changed minor texturing flaws
-Minor fixes to the flight manual, added aft cockpit diagram and ejection seat details
-Activated "Bitching Betty" sounds by default GPWS, Over G, Low Fuel, albeit voice warningsare not currently linked to DEP data. GPWS Voice is set to 300 ft regardless of DEP and Low Fuel is not linked to BINGO value (Voice activates when fuel is 300lbs or less).

As requested by some users, please find below the download links for some "auxiliary" files (these are all Mediafire links - so they may expire over time):

T-45C V2.10 "Lite version" (this version has only the default repaint and no flight manual for minimum bandwith and installation footprint - this file is untested and unsupported)

T-45C V2.10 DX9 Glass (in version 2.10 I've used a less realistic but DX10 compatible glass material, some users may prefer the older rendition so here is a zip with two models: the latest 3d model recompiled with old material and the default one for backup)

T-45C V2.10 Flight Manual (although this .pdf file is part of the default installation and is found in the .docs folder - users of the Lite version may want to download this)

In the end, this version is still far from being perfect - but I hope it is an improvement over the previous release. The main installation file has been uploaded to both avsim and flightsim. Should be online within a couple of days.

Hello, beautiful aircraft, I was wondering if you could upload it with just one repaint? (because of its file size)

Grazie, Dino!
I'm glad you've finally implemented a complete model of the T-45C. I look forward to trying her out. ;)

Also, I finally got to install and test your payware F-35A yesterday; which I bought over a year or so ago and could not install it due to MOBO issues. That finally resolved, I'm happy to say that I was quite impressed at first glance. It has some nice features that I look forward to *playing-with* and perhaps even adding to as well. ;) Any way, I look forward to all your hard work and thank you for it.

Ciao! :)

Thanks Dino, great update. HUD for instructor, please (of course, whenever you have time after your vacation).

All,

once again, thanks a lot for your support and appreciation.

@KDFW

Actually, it is not an HUD (which would have been easy to place on the glass...) but a simple gunsight for "dumb" bombs... which was too tricky/time consuming for me to program.

Dino,
I see, then never mind. Great release and thank you.

Hello I downloaded the Boeing T-45c from Media Fire and when I moved the Aircraft File to the SimObject File on FSX and in-game/in-menu it only shows the interior of the aircraft and not the exterior... If you could please help me figure/fix this out It would be very appreciated.

All the Best

Hey Dino,

I noticed the new gear animations, but it doesn't behave as accurately as the previous version.

Now just as you rotate the nose gear drops below the surface - and the same thing happens upon landing, until more weight is put in the gear then it pops up above ground.

Also, the gear struts now seem to have zero clearance when on-ground, there look as if the suspension has bottomed-out.

Cheers.

static gear compression is correct with this new model. go to airliners.net and check out the photos.

as for sinking below ground during replay, that's fsx limitation. most addons do that.

ScimmiaSpaziale ha detto...

@Lumenosity & KDFW

Well, the static gear compression is OK... but the animation behaviour is not. I knew this - and the main issue is the fact that the nose gear may sink into the ground sometimes - but as I had no solution...so, after several attempts, I've decided to live with the animation glitch but have a correct stance.

@Morphmedia

I am pretty sure the .zip file is correct and the product works as intended...and I cannot imagine what went wrong. Make sure that you have removed any of my previous Goshawks. You should have 2 .mdl files namely t45c.mdl and t45c2.mdl. The former is the external model.
But I have really no idea of what is the issue in your case.

An absolutely great work!!!

Hello, I fly the T-45C myself, and just wanted to say thank you!!

There are a few issues I'm having with the VC though...the biggest is that I can't quite get the MFDs fired up. Is this an issue with me or the model?

ScimmiaSpaziale ha detto...

The T-45C requires FSX:Acceleration or Gold - otherwise it may not work correctly. If the default Hornet is working, the T-45C MFD should work, too, as they use the very same code.

Complimenti Dino, bellissimo aereo... vorrie però sapere se è possibile avere il paint kit di questo bellissimo aereo, in quanto vorrei crearmi delle livree personalizzate. grazie ciao.

Dino, is it possible to contact you personally and not via blog? I didn't write you an email since you said your adress in profile got flooded by spam and you're not using it anymore. Thanks.
